02 / ABOUT ME

a few chapters in
classic car boot sale

hey, i'm ilyas — been coding since 2021 when i made a school website and actually got hooked. went from that to roblox scripts, then started a discounted robux business i advertised on tiktok — hit 3m views and 40k customers by 2024. 2025 was mostly just exams. now it's 2026 and i'm building pixlumo, which is where most of my time goes.

when i'm not at a screen i'm either cycling, reading, or slowly learning piano. also replaying persona 5 for probably the third time. the music taste is there, the genre hasn't been decided yet.

the story so far timeline + skills

TIMELINE

  1. made a website for school in html + css, actually liked it
  2. writing roblox scripts for fun, mostly
  3. started a discounted robux business, advertised it on tiktok
  4. 3m views, 40k customers. still kind of unreal
  5. buried in exams
  6. building pixlumo

things i've been figuring out ↙
pixlumo / build log01

ok so i wanted a flight display

the ones i found only shipped to the us and cost about $200, so i got an esp32 and a led matrix and made my own.

pixlumo / what's next02

the esp32 was doing too much

it kept crashing when it had to fetch flight data and draw the screen at the same time. i moved the rendering to a server. now i'm working on a pcb and figuring out how to make more.

04 / SCRAPS FROM THE NOTEBOOK

small things, lately

what comes after the prototype?

currently working on a PCB for it and how to mass produce.

slowly learning piano

when i'm not at a screen i'm either cycling, reading, or slowly learning piano.
